No criminal prosecution is currently planned, since Chris Rock has not wished to file a complaint for the moment. If certain voices are already calling for the Oscar to be withdrawn. Some media indicate that disciplinary sanctions ranging from simple suspension to expulsion from the Academy could be applied.
