Day 2: France concedes the first try

The XV of France is the first team to give in in this match. Scotland pierced the French defense with Ben White flattening the ball. Finn Russell took care of the transformation. – ()

Scottish scrum-half Ben White scored the first try of the match against the French XV on Saturday after a ball lost by Matthieu Jalibert.

Scotland struck first against the French XV at Murrayfield for their second outing in the 2024 Six Nations Tournament, Saturday February 10. After a very tactical start to the match where occupation was a priority, Finn Russell’s teammates took advantage of a ball poorly received by Matthieu Jalibert to score the first try of the match, on one of the first opportunities .

Glasgow Warriors center Huw Jones, slightly touched a few moments earlier after contact with Jonathan Danty, pierced the Blues defense and ideally served Ben White inside, allowing the Chardon XV to open the scoring (7- 0.8th). The bad dynamic is confirmed for this XV of France, still in difficulty, a week after the humiliation conceded at home against Ireland.
