Become dark brown growing up, it is to stand out from her big sister Gigi, that Bella began to dye her hair brown at the very beginning of her modeling career. Almost a decade later, the 25-year-old still sports the hair color that brought her luck and which brings out her pretty green eyes.
In an interview in the American version of Vogue magazine, this Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Bella, whose real name is Isabella Khair Hadid, confides in her appearance and her regrets. “If only I had kept the nose of my ancestors” launches the former companion of The Weeknd before admitting that she regrets terribly having undergone a nose operation when she was only 14 years old.

And if Bella recognizes this intervention, she denies on the other hand having resorted to botox injections to smooth the features of her face: “It’s wrong, I have no problem with it, but it’s not for me! To those who think I got an eye lift […], it’s scotch. A trick as old as the world” she chants.
“I think I could very well have lived with my nose” says Bella Hadid, referring again to her rhinoplasty. The young woman says she had long felt like she was “ugly” compared to her sister Gigi Hadid. “I suffered a lot from impostor syndrome, this feeling that people make you believe that you don’t deserve anything you have. People always have something to complain about, but what I have to say, it’s that I’ve always been misunderstood in my environment and by the people around me.”
“I was the ugly sister, the brunette. I wasn’t as cool as Gigi, not as outgoing. That’s really what people were saying about me. And unfortunately when you’re told things so many times, you believe it” continues Bella Hadid who, in the end, took a nice revenge by becoming just as in demand as her eldest.
