At the opening of the Council of Ministers at 11 a.m. on Friday morning, Emmanuel Macron gave directives to the reshuffled government, urging them to be “exemplary” and to always act “with the greatest dignity”.

Emmanuel Macron spoke for the first time before the new government, during his speech at the opening of the Council of Ministers, Friday July 21.
