BeIN Sports has made an offer of 100 million euros to broadcast a Ligue 1 football match, Radio France’s sports management learned on Sunday from a source close to the negotiations, confirming information from the newspaper L’Équipe.
This offer from the Qatari channel is coupled with that of DAZN. The British platform offered 375 million euros for the purchase of eight Ligue 1 matches.
The board of directors of the Professional Football League, the LFP, is due to meet on Sunday 14 July at 5:30 p.m. to decide between the DAZN/beIN Sports offer and the creation of a 100% Ligue 1 channel with a partnership with Warner and its Max platform.
