(Beijing) Russian Daniil Medvedev easily beat German Alexander Zverev 6-4, 6-3 on Tuesday in two sets to qualify for the final of the ATP 500 tournament in Beijing.
One break per set was enough for the world No.3 to dismiss Zverev, a victory also facilitated in particular by his great efficiency in serving (80% of first serves at 2e round, for 90% of points won behind this first service).
In the final, Medvedev will face the winner of the match between Italian Jannik Sinner and world No.2, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
