Bedbugs proliferate in homes, cinemas, transport and even hospitals. The invasion turns into psychosis. A few days ago, they were filmed in several TGV trains. “A wave of panic has set in“, tell a witness. An emergency plan
The problem is taken very seriously by Paris town hall. For the most modest households, it reimburses home disinfection. Today it calls for a large-scale plan, on the scale of France. Emmanuel Grégoire, 1st deputy mayor of Paris, even speaks of a “global issue“. Less than a year before the Olympic Games, hoteliers and tourism professionals are also worried about the invasion. Over the last five years, bedbugs have infested one in ten homes in France.
