(Saint-Joseph-De-Beauce) SAINT-A septuagenarian lost his life during an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) swerve in Saint-Séverin, in the MRC Beauce-Centre, in Chaudière-Appalaches, Wednesday after- noon.
The ATV driver reportedly lost control of his machine, which overturned at the intersection of rue de l’Eglise and rue des Pionniers, around 2:30 p.m.
He suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, Béatrice Dorsainville.
An investigation is underway to determine the exact causes of the accident.
