Béatrice Dalle will be at Printemps de Bourges in a tribute to Kurt Cobain

The actress is starring in a tribute show to Kurt Cobain and a literary concert with Virginie Despentes

Actress Béatrice Dalle will perform in two shows in April at Printemps de Bourges, notably in a show in tribute to Kurt Cobain, the festival organizers announced on Wednesday.

Le Printemps, from April 24 to 28, will mark the 30th anniversary of the suicide of the leader of Nirvana with a creation, Come As You Are, taken from the title of one of the grunge star group’s hits of the 1990s. There we will find Béatrice Dalle and the young singer-songwriter Youv Dee. “Ten texts read from the singer’s memoirs for one, ten titles from the Nirvana repertoire for the other”explain the organizers.

The actress, revealed by the film 37°2 in the morning, will also participate, alongside the writer Virginie Despentes, in Troublesliterary concert with the artists Casey and Zëro.

Béatrice Dalle already knows the Printemps de Bourges, since she participated in a tribute concert to Brigitte Fontaine in 2022, in the presence of the singer on stage.

In the musical reading section, there will also be The eroticism of living with singer Catherine Ringer (ex-Rita Mitsouko).

Before the revelation of these shows, Printemps had already unveiled its more classic programming, with headliners such as Mika, Zaho de Sagazan, Hoshi, PLK, Niska and Shaka Ponk.

Printemps de Bourges has attracted more than 200,000 festival-goers in recent years, a count including paid festival entries and free events in town.
