A 29-year-old man was hospitalized after being beaten by three individuals on Saturday evening in Montreal in Mercier-Hochelaga.

At 8:40 p.m., the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) was called to intervene regarding an injured man on the ground in Mercier Hochelaga-Maisonneuve between Louis Veuillot and Lacordaire streets.
Upon arrival, police find an unconscious 29-year-old man with upper body injuries.
According to the first information sent by the spvm publicist Caroline Chevrefils, he was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Around 11 p.m., there was no longer any danger to his life.
Three suspects allegedly used physical force to assault the victim and fled in a vehicle before the police arrived.
The scene has been protected for investigators as well as forensic identification technicians so that they can analyze the scene and understand the circumstances of the attack
Witnesses have been interviewed, there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
