Batch cooking is in vogue. This technique from the United States consists of preparing dishes for five evenings of the week during the preceding weekend, in the space of three hours.

A very popular technique that comes to us from New York, in the United States, and called “batch cooking” (in French, “to cook in series”). “I started batch cooking 3-4 years ago, when I was embarking on a zero waste approach. Three hours to make the five dishes of the week

In three hours, we have to create the five menus for the five evenings to come. Delphine prepares them for four people. Basquaise chicken, Mexican burrito, lasagna and Lorraine quiches are prepared at the same time.
