Direction Montbrison, about forty kilometers from Saint-Etienne, to meet Bastien, 22, employee of La Poste. He is about to vote for the first time in a presidential election. His choice has not yet been made: he hesitates between Emmanuel Macron or Éric Zemmour.

Bastien first explains why he may be considering voting for candidate Emmanuel Macron “He was our president, we know who he is. So I saw what he could do until now” As for Eric Zemmour, “what he says about certain things is not necessarily wrong. There is something calm in what he says.

Éric Zemmour, when I watch him on TV, I listen to him well and it can be interesting what he says.

What he says about immigration, it speaks to me“, explains the young employee of La Poste who qualifies. “There are things on which I disagree less with Éric Zemmour, such as the fact that if you are not French, you are leaving France. On the other hand, those who are motivated are welcome. That, I agree. That’s why there is Emmanuel Macron, next door, if I’m really too scared, because it’s true that Éric Zemmour is scary on certain speeches“, says Bastien.

The young employee of La Poste says he is particularly concerned about the rise in the price of gasoline. “I feel it to go to work, I do 35 kilometers round trip. I can no longer give presents to myself, nor to my mom. I have to save my money to go to work. We’re working to put gas in our car so we can go to work…“, he laments.
