It’s a real journey through time that Patrick Sébastien offers C8 viewers. With his new program called “Les pépites de Sébastien”, the host indeed invites the French to dive back into the past by (re)discovering cult TV images.
Funny or even terribly moving sequences that will not leave viewers indifferent on Saturday April 15, 2023, the date on which the new number will be broadcast on the first channel. And for good reason, on the eve of the broadcast of “Sebastian Nuggets”, the C8 Twitter account unveiled a particularly touching excerpt.
“A moving encounter on the other side of the mirror between Carlos and Joe Dassin to relive in #LesPépitesDeSébastien, Saturday evening on C8”, can we read in the caption of an extract from the show “On the other side of the mirror” where Carlos bursts into tears when he discovers Joe Dassin on stage.

Broadcast from 2003 and 2004 on the France 2 channel, the television program “On the other side of the mirror” was hosted by Patrick Sébastien. A program during which the host had decided to give personalities an unforgettable moment by making them meet one of their loved ones. During the third and last issue broadcast on Saturday January 3, 2004, Annie Cordy had therefore faced Bourvil, Claude Brasseur faced his father Pierre Brasseur, and finally Carlos faced Joe Dassin… A particularly moving passage that we leave you live again below thanks to the extract unveiled by the C8 channel!
