The Marcheurs accelerate the pace with 5 months of the presidential election. A “support committee for the re-election of Emmanuel Macron” was launched this Thursday, November 4, in Bayonne. According to its four founders, the goal is to “bring the balance sheet of the President and encourage him to be a candidate for re-election”.
Were present at this “official launch” the four founders from this support committee: departmental councilor Annick Trounday; the 10th Deputy Mayor of Anglet Anne Dumortier; departmental councilor Olivier Alleman and deputy mayor of Bayonne Loïc Corrégé.
Also present in support, the president of the departmental council Jean-Jacques Lasserre, and the deputy of the 5th district of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Florence Lasserre. “Politics is constantly renewing, doing better,” she explains, therefore considering “the re-election of Emmanuel Macron” necessary.
