A woman in her thirties from the Kamouraska region, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent, is between life and death after suffering serious injuries in a snowmobile accident late Saturday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 5:15 p.m. Saturday on federated trail 35, at kilometer 201, in the Mont-Carmel sector, in Kamouraska.
A snowmobiler in her thirties lost control of her motorized vehicle before being ejected. She was accompanied by another snowmobiler who contacted emergency services.
The local woman, in her 30s, was taken to hospital in critical condition. We fear for his life, says Hélène St-Pierre, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
A police officer trained in investigation and collisions was dispatched to the scene to analyze the scene.
