(Montreal) A 58-year-old man died on Saturday after a snowmobile swerve in Esprit-Saint, in Bas-Saint-Laurent.
Emergency services were called around 7:30 a.m. on the 3e row of the municipality, to rescue the snowmobiler, who was stuck under his vehicle, said the spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec Camille Savoie.
The victim was alone at the time.
The man “unfortunately succumbed to his injuries”, she said, adding that “a police officer trained in collision investigation went to the scene to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this event”.
