The crash happened around 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon. A 68-year-old man was doing work on a tractor on a private road, explains Stéphane Tremblay, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
While going up a slope, the tractor overturned. The man then found himself trapped below. It was his relatives who found him like this.
Resuscitation maneuvers were performed, but without success. The 60-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.
An inquest into the death has been opened and the coroner has been notified. A patrol officer specializing in collision investigation moved to the scene to better understand the scene, specifies Mr. Tremblay.
