Icon among icons, Brigitte Bardot is the subject of a French miniseries which will be broadcast from Friday on Extra de Tou.tv.
Divided into six episodes, the series simply titled bardotwritten and directed by Danièle and Christopher Thompson, is mainly interested in the birth of the BB phenomenon It is difficult to measure, these days, the shock caused by the arrival of the young blonde in French cinema.
Bardot is played by actress Julia de Nunez, who has the same slightly babyish face and luscious lips of the one who capsized a lot of men, including Gainsbourg, of course. The series ends, however, at the beginning of the sixties, long before his arrival on the scene.
The miniseries begins shortly before Bardot’s meeting with Roger Vadim, who revealed it in And God created the woman and was her first husband. The sequel shows the explosion of his career, which fueled a revolution in morals, and evokes his relationships with the actors Jean-Louis Trintignant, Jacques Charrier and Sami Frey.
It is a fiction based on real facts, it is stated in the opening. Brigitte Bardot did not participate and did not validate its veracity, specifies the French press, which nevertheless considers it very close to reality.
