When you launch a cultural event, you always want it to find its audience. This is clearly what happened to the Festif de Baie-Saint-Paul, a music festival that has seen its number of visitors multiply by 20 since its birth in 2010. But this rate of growth is not without drawbacks for the residents of the small municipality, who have to deal with a growing horde of festival-goers each year. We explore how the programmed decline chosen by the organizers of the Festif unfolds.
