Two schools of thought clash in the dairy aisle: Rawesome, a Montreal-based vegan products company, is attacking a rule that restricts the use of the word “cheese” to products made from animal milk. The company has just won a first round against the City of Montreal and is now trying to extend its victory to all of Canada in order to be able to identify its product as a cheese made from cashew milk.
