In Ukraine, Western aid has been instrumental in countering the Russian invasion so far. And kyiv has been able to count on its long-standing allies, including Canada, which is among the most generous countries. If Ottawa initially contented itself with providing non-lethal equipment, this support quickly gave way to sending heavy weapons. This is historic support, but it is not without consequences for Canadian reserves.
