Severe heat followed by thunderstorms and slush did nothing to extinguish the fervor of the 200,000 festival-goers who came to applaud their favorite bands at the Hellfest in Clisson (Loire-Atlantique) from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 June 2023. Summary of these four days of madness in 17 pictures.

The 16th edition of Hellfest came to a close on Sunday June 18, 2023 after four days of craziness, metal, rock and punk at full volume, cheering crowds, crowd surfing and, for those who had decided to play the game, outfits from hell. At the concerts of Pantera, Iron Maiden, Kiss, Thundermother or Hollywood Vampires, the show was as much on stage as in the audience. A public which, despite the increase in the price of the 4-day pass, which rose this year from 289 to 339 euros, once again snapped up the 200,000 tickets, long before knowing which groups would be programmed. So many metal devotees whose fervor was never extinguished by the high temperatures and then the downpours that fell on Clisson on Sunday.
