FC Nantes won their first title in 21 years by winning thanks to a goal from the penalty spot by Ludovic Blas on Saturday evening in the Coupe de France final.
The party was far from over. It must be said that the people of Nantes ate their black bread for nearly 21 years. So the day after the victory (1-0) of their FC Nantes against OGC Nice in the Coupe de France, the supporters of the Canaries and the players had only one desire: to continue the festivities. They set the streets of the city, nestled on the banks of the Loire, ablaze, and more particularly Place Foch where Antoine Komboaré’s men presented the trophy.
A trophy gleaned thanks to the paw of his midfielder and captain, Ludovic Blas, impeccable on penalty. Communion had also started the same evening with the yellow and green tide. Boosted, equipped with smoke, the latter had invested two thirds of the stands of the Stade de France.
