Wednesday, June 15 took place the baccalaureate philosophy test for final year students. The examination rooms were organized to combat the heat.
In Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), it was 28 degrees, Wednesday June 15, for final year students who were taking their baccalaureate philosophy test. “It was already hot (…) it’s a furnace”says a high school student. “They serve us water, there is a fan”describes a student. In a high school in the Paris region, where the temperatures are lower than in the south, the heat is also a subject of concern. “The only thing we can do (…) is to choose our rooms well, as we do every year, and to avoid southern exposures”explains Alain Morel, principal at the Camille Claudel high school in Vauréal.
The tests, which take place in the morning, are easier to bear. “If it had been the afternoon, it would have been much more trying”assures a student. For four hours, they worked on the following philosophical subjects: “Do artistic practices transform the world?” Where “Is it up to the state to decide what is right?“.
