The second feature film by the Quebec filmmaker received the prize for best film, while Steve Laplante was awarded the prize for best actor.

Starring Patrick Hivon, Monia Chokri, Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Steve Laplante and Hubert Proulx, Baby sitter tells the story of an engineer whose life goes into a tailspin after he utters a sexist joke on TV. The feature film was written by Catherine Léger, based on her play Baby sitter.

After Sundance, in January, and Monte-Carlo, in April, the film will be presented in New York, at the Tribeca festival, in mid-June.

Released in theaters in France on April 27, Baby sitter received critical acclaim, as reported The Press last week. The film will be released in theaters on June 3 in Quebec.
