One out of four for the Basque clubs this weekend in the French Football Cup. We disputed these Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October the fifth round of competition
. Only Aviron Bayonnais (N3) got their ticket for the next round. End of course on the other hand for the Genets of Anglet (N3), the Crusaders of Bayonne (R1) and Hasparren (R3).

- Rowing Bayonne (N3) 1-0 Boulazac (R1)
The Ciel et Blancs only needed 57 seconds to open the scoring on Saturday evening in the Dordogne. Behind, they will lock the meeting, relying on a foolproof defense. Despite the fright in stoppage time, with an opposing header that hits the crossbar, the essential is there with qualification.
- Bergerac (N2) 2-1 Genets of Anglet (N3)

Beaten last week in the league by this same team, the Crusaders come out “through the back door”, according to their trainer Bruno Mercadier. Faced with a team perfectly in place, the Bayonnais will lose too many balls in their last 40 meters. Three shots on target throughout the game, including a header that was a little too central, which could have fooled the Landes goalkeeper. Logically, St Paul opened the scoring in the 48th minute with a cross from the left taken from the head. The locals will try to push in the last ten minutes, without finding the fault.
- Hasparren (R3) 1-4 Lescar (R1)
