Since July 2021, it is no longer possible to reach Place de La République from the avenue of the same name.
The road is one-way traffic, to improve cycle paths but also to green the axis in order to refresh Paris.
The construction is coming to an end. The reopening of the avenue in both directions is scheduled for the end of September.
