For this competition, each candidate has a maximum of 6 hours to provide a presentation of 20 traditional French baguettes, on site and in front of the public. These rods meet the requirements of article 2 of decree N°93-1074 of September 13, 1993.

They are made with ingredients provided, and the use of additives will be prohibited, they must be 50 cm long and weigh 250 g after cooking. The candidates have been placed under the conditions of the national final where the finalist will represent the Grand Est Region at the national final which will take place, as part of the national bread festival in Paris.
