(Melbourne) Gabriela Dabrowski of Ottawa and Erin Routliffe of New Zealand reached the quarterfinals in women’s doubles at the Australian Open.
The duo defeated China’s Xinyu Jiang and Hanyu Guo 4-6, 6-1, 6-3.
Dabrowski and Routliffe obtained the four aces of the match.
Fourth seeded, they also dominated 24-7 in winning shots.
Dabrowski and Routliffe will have Taylor Townsend and Beatriz Haddad Maia, or Cristina Bucsa and Alexandra Panova as their next rivals.
In mixed doubles, Dabrowski and American Nathaniel Lammons will face Jamie Murray and Yana Sizikova on the night of Sunday to Monday, Montreal time.
