Already a year since Aurélie Pons said goodbye to her dad. On October 11, the star that Aurélie Pons was on the floor of Dance with the stars had no idea that her father would indeed become one. Right in the competition, the actress ofHere it all starts announced the sudden death of his dad on Instagram. “I love you forever my Paupé. You are the most beautiful of stars”, she wrote in the caption of a snapshot of her very young in the arms of her dad, thumbs up in the air. The young woman had even paid tribute to him during the next bonus of Dance with the starsfinding the strength to dance because he loved the show.
A year has passed since the tragic disappearance of his “Paupé“, swept away by a heart attack. If time passes, nothing is forgotten. Aurélie Pons had a very special thought for him on this sad first birthday. She was not the only one. Her sisters Alice and Agathe accompanied on this trying day. The trio did not content themselves with posting an old family snapshot and a star accompanied by a dove in legend. Aurélie, Agathe and Alice went near a church, at the top of a hill in Rousset-les-Vignes (in the Drôme) at sunset, to make luminous lanterns fly up into the sky.

Since the departure of their father, Aurélie and her sisters stick together. They can also count on the supportand their mom. Aurélie Pons had in any case confirmed it in an interview for The Parisian : “Since the tragedy, I am even more welded with my mother and my sisters. They are the ones who carried me this far. Their support has been essential to my progress, to my commitment.“There is no doubt that seeing such unity between the women in his life, dad must be beyond proud.
