The Burmese junta tightens its grip against Aung San Suu Kyi. The former leader of Burma was sentenced Monday, August 15, to an additional six years in prison. The 77-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner, who had previously been sentenced to a total of 11 years in prison, was found guilty of four corruption charges.
