Auna forced to sing Louane? The candidate reveals everything about her exchanges with production

She can be proud of herself: the young Auna delivered a performance which won over all the coaches this Saturday March 2, 2024 in the fourth blind audition session of The Voice. Come to defend yourself on Give me your heart by Louane Emera, herself revealed by the second season of the tele-hook already ten years ago, Auna was able to choose between the four coaches, without any of them using a super-block. It was ultimately Zazie that the young adult chose to continue the adventure, alongside other talents already selected by the artist, such as Stolt, Alphonse, Lize, Ninon and Deborah. For now, Vianney has 7 talents, Bigflo and Oli have 8, and Zazie and Mika are tied with 9 talents each.

In an interview given to Tele-Leisure and published this Sunday, Auna lifts the veil on the contours of the song that she defended on the set of The Voice. And while production and the chain are accustomed to asserting that talents have carte blanche and choose the title they want, the reality seems quite different, as the singer suggested. Indeed, while she wanted to defend herself against Adele, an artist very dear to her heartthe production would have required her to sing this song, which she had already sung during her castings.

“I wasn’t allowed to sing this mash-up”

“Basically, it wasn’t supposed to be this title. I wanted to sing Adele, because this artist is a real religion for me. During my first casting in Paris, I proposed a remix of Donne-moi your heart with Femme like u by K. Maro. It was popular but I wasn’t allowed to sing a mash-up in the show. The production then told me that I had to sing in French and (that they) believed in me on Louane’s song she explained to our colleagues. A choice imposed by the ITV Studios France production but which ultimately paid off, since the four chairs turned around, and the young woman was unanimous.

In the end, Auna no longer regrets this imposed song, and is delighted to have been able to reach the next stage thanks to the advice that provided her with the production: “By singing it, I realized that the lyrics echoed my life. You have to bare yourself when you’re an artist but I’m modest. This title is a kick in the butt to help me continue this adventure.” This fourth evening of season 13 of The Voice

attracted 3.9 million followers for nearly 28% of housewives ; last week, the show had fallen to 3.7 million viewers, compared to 4.0 million for the second issue, and 4.1 million for the launch
