This Thursday, October 19, 2023, in clear and unpublished form, M6 is offering the film Kaamelottreleased in 2021 in theaters and carried by the same actors as the cult series: Lionnel and Alexandre Astier were still at work, and Anne Girouard, Joëlle Sevilla, Jean-Christophe Hembert were accompanied for the occasion by Sting, Christian Clavier, François Rollin, Antoine de Caunes and even Alain Chabat and Géraldine Nakache. The actress Audrey Fleurot, who played in this successful short-com the character of the Lady of the Lake, was also present, but with a lesser, almost figurative role. All that remains is that the film was a hit by bringing together 2.64 million French people, a hit for a film released after the harsh context of confinement and Covid, and making the latter the most bankable French film of the year 2021.
But in an interview she gave to Tele-Leisure, Audrey Fleurot, who has multiple projects in TV and cinema, reveals how complex it was for her to make herself available for Alexandre Astier. She bitterly reproaches to the filmmaker for being too lateand to call the teams at the last moment, without worrying about their availability: “The problem is that Alexandre warns very, very late, at the last minute. Everything is quite mysterious”she explains. And to regret: “For the first film, I shot very little because I didn’t have much availability during the requested period. But I would have been unhappy not to be there, because it’s true that that’s when even an adventure: It’s been around twenty years anyway”.
She would like to be in the new part… but there is a but
As he refines the new Kaamelottwhich should be filmed in the coming months and released at the end of 2024, Alexandre Astier is counting on Audrey Fleurot; if the latter insists on being one, and remains attached to her character of the Lady of the Lake, the fact remains that the actress has many professional imperatives, which could prevent her from acceding to her friend’s request, if the latter arrives too late: “There, for the next one, it will basically happen the same way, that is to say that I would be really very sad not to be there, and I hope, I keep my fingers crossed, have enough days to offer them to participate“. The actress, starring in the series HPI on TF1, also filmed for France 2 a mini-series recently broadcast and well received by the public, called Infiltratedin which she opposite Thierry Neuvic.
