“How do you read?“This is the big question posed by the new issue of Rules of the Game. No less than 177 personalities, including candidates for the next presidential election, have thus confided in the literary review founded and directed by Bernard-Henri Lévy. A launch party was held in Paris on February 16.
It’s between the walls of the mythical Flora Coffee, on Boulevard Saint-Germain in the chic 6th arrondissement, where the evening was held. And we saw a lot of people! We were able to spot the host Thierry Ardisson – who will soon launch his new show hotel of time – all smiles on the arm of his wife, journalist and presenter Audrey Crespo-Mara. A rare outing for the couple who was then able to chat and toast with various prestigious guests.
Indeed, the photographers no doubt no longer knew where to turn during this evening since the guest list was particularly long! We were able to see the first lady Brigitte Macron, the former Prime Minister Manuel Valls and his wife Susana Gallardo, Ségolène Royal – who recently called for a useful vote for Jean-Luc Mélenchon to the detriment of his socialist comrade Anne Hidalgo -, Claire Chazal , Jane Birkin or Frédéric Saldmann and his wife Marie, Christine and Olivier Orban, Eva Ionesco, Ali Mahdavi, Jean-Michel Ribes, Yann Moix, Denis Olivennes, François Pinault, Laurent Dassault, Maria de França, Jérôme Clement, Anne Fulda. ..
Rules of the Game questioned all types of readers (writers but also publishers, critics, the President of the Republic, etc.) by submitting the same questionnaire to them for this new issue released on newsstands on January 26th. A total of 177 responses, “light or serious, whimsical or deep, unexpected and, sometimes, very intimate“, were collected by the literary review founded in the 1990s. We can thus discover “significant or missed, fertile or shameful readingsof several personalities.
