(Paris) The auction in Paris of more than 350 objects from the “Batman” universe, the famous DC superhero, brought in 105,000 euros ($142,000), according to Millon.

“A real success with three quarters of the lots sold,” she said in an email to AFP.
Flagship product of this sale which ended late Thursday evening: the original cover in color of the album “Batman Aliens #2” signed Bernie Wrightson.
Estimated between 9,400 and 12,100 dollars, it aroused the enthusiasm of bidders and went to 21,100 dollars (including fees), which is the highest bid of the sale, said the Millon house.
Among the toys, an AOSHIN “Batmobile” fetched $3,600 (including fees), more than five times its estimate.
The bidders followed the sale in the room and online or by telephone from “France and across the Atlantic”, according to the Millon house.
The result of 20 years of research by a fan of the batman, the pieces on sale date from 1966 to 1997 and trace the evolution of Bruce Wayne, the superhero created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger in 1939 .
The majority of the lots offered were action figures and cars, most still in their original packaging, which the seller had sourced in the United States, Japan, or online on eBay in the 2000s, at the beginning of the platform.
