(La Tuque) A woman in her forties died following an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident on Saturday evening in La Tuque, in Haute-Mauricie.
The police were called, around 7 p.m., to go to forest road 25, around kilometer 49, where the exit from the road occurred, said the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The woman sustained serious injuries as a result of the overturning of the side-by-side vehicle in which five people were seated.
She was transported to a hospital center where she was pronounced dead.
An accident scene reconstruction expert was dispatched to the scene to analyze it and try to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
Sergeant Louis-Philippe Bibeau, a spokesperson for the SQ, told The Canadian Press that everything suggests that it would be a false move. Neither alcohol nor speed would be involved.
