A man in his thirties is fighting for his life after being shot. The attack on Tuesday evening occurred during a break-in at a home in Rawdon, in the Lanaudière region.

The police were called to intervene in the residence on rue Yves-Thériault, near rue Curé Landry, specifies the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
After a break-in to the house, a 34-year-old man was injured by at least one bullet.
The victim is still in hospital in critical condition Wednesday morning.
SQ major crime investigators are on the scene trying to determine the circumstances of the attempted murder.
A security perimeter has been erected to protect the scene. It is not known at this time whether the injured person was known to police circles.
