Francesco Del Balso, a major player in Montreal organized crime, was reportedly the target of gunfire this morning in Laval, learned The Press.

According to our information, the mafioso was not touched or injured.
The events occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at the corner of boulevard Saint-Martin and rue Deblois.
Laval police are on the scene.
