An 18-year-old man was hit by several projectiles in a residential area of Laval overnight from Friday to Saturday.
The event occurred on Sainte-Rose Boulevard, at the intersection of 20th Avenue.
According to initial information, this attempted murder would be linked to street gangs, said Lieutenant Goulet of the Laval police.
The victim was transported to a hospital, but there is no fear for his life.
No suspects have been apprehended at this time. The scene was still protected at the end of the morning.
The investigation is continuing in order to shed light on this event.
