Two vehicles parked in front of a private property in the town of Mount Royal were targeted with Molotov cocktails during the night from Sunday to Monday, however resulting in only minor damage.
Shortly before 11:30 p.m. Sunday, emergency services were called to a residence in the town of Mont-Royal where thugs allegedly attempted to set fire to two vehicles using Molotov cocktails.
Except that when the firefighters arrived, the homemade incendiary weapons were already extinguished, after having caused only minor damage to their target, according to our information.
It would not be the first time that the owner of the vehicles has been the victim of an arson attack while his businesses have also been targeted by arson attacks in recent months.
The investigation was transferred to the arson section of the Montreal City Police Department.
