One of the two men who attacked the father of comedian Alexandre Champagne was found by the police who arrested him. It was the content creator himself who made the announcement on his social networks.

The SPVM confirmed that the suspect is a 42-year-old homeless man. He reportedly suffers from mental health and substance abuse issues. The accused was arrested for assault. He is expected to appear Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.
Remember that last week, the father of Alexandre Champagne, aged 67, was attacked by two men. The events took place on the Jean-Talon metro platform. No passers-by then stopped, a situation which was widely denounced. In addition, the victim, attacked from behind, had to call 911 herself to obtain assistance.

According to the publication of Alexandre Champagne, the attacker would be on his third misdemeanor since January. He also claims that the individual in question had been wanted by the authorities since 2020.
“I just spoke with my father on the phone. He cried with joy,” wrote Alexandre Champagne.
