On May 15, at the heart of a protest against pension reform, the great-nephew of Brigitte Macron, wife of the President of the Republic, was the victim of a violent assault
in front of the Jean Trogneux chocolate factory in Amiens. “Around forty demonstrators were there after the president’s speech. reported Jean-Alexandre Trogneux, the father of Jean-Baptiste, on the airwaves of France Blue Picardy, following the events. And to continue: “There were around ten of them who threw themselves at him when they recognized him. They beat him up, with a lot of blows to the face“.
For her part, Emmanuel Macron’s wife also spoke, denouncing “cowardice, stupidity and violence” attackers to theAFP. “I am in total solidarity with my family and in constant contact, since 11 p.m. yesterday, with Jean-Baptiste (my great-nephew, victim of the attack) and Jean-Alexandre (my nephew, father of the victim). I have repeatedly denounced this violence which can only lead to the worst.”

105 hours of community service
Seven months after the conviction of two people for acts of violence, a 16 year old girl has just been sentenced in turn to 105 hours of community service (TIG) by a juvenile judge, reports The Parisian according to information from France Blue and Courier Picard.
After the attack, eight people were arrested. The teenager from Montpellier was on the run at the time of the incident. She actually wanted to find her lover from Amiens. Arrested a few days later, the latter then admitted to having kicked the victim.
