After the attack on a prison van in Eure, Tuesday May 14, the government is mobilizing. Two prison officers have been killed, and two others are in absolute emergency. The Epervier plan has been activated.
“Everything will be done to find the perpetrators of this abject crime, the Epervier plan has been launched”declared Gabriel Attal to the National Assembly, Tuesday May 14. “We will hunt them down, we will find them and I tell you: they will pay”, promised the Prime Minister. Earlier today, in Eure, two prison officers were killed during the attack on an armored van. Two others are in absolute emergency.
At the scene of the tragedy, at the Incarville tollbooth (Eure), a large police force is still in place. On social networks, the President of the Republic paid tribute to the victims. “The Nation stands alongside the families, the victims and their colleagues”, tweeted Emmanuel Macron. At the Ministry of Justice, a crisis unit has been set up. “I have a heartfelt thought for them”confided the Minister of Justice.
