For 24 hours, every detail has counted to find Mohamed Amra. Investigators are trying to identify his accomplices who attacked a van and killed two prison officers.
It took them less than 2 and a half minutes. On video surveillance images, the attackers appear to be taking their time. At no point do they seem to lose their composure. Having come to free Mohamed Amra, they were ready to do anything, including killing. A determination felt by the passengers of a bus who hid.
According to initial information, the attack was carefully prepared. Why take so much risk for Mohamed Amra, who is not considered a big shot? Nicknamed La Mouche, he received 13 convictions for criminal conspiracy, the first at 15 years old, the last on May 10 for aggravated theft. He was indicted for kidnapping and sequestration leading to death in a case linked to organized crime in Marseille. Investigators are now interested in his entourage, in all the names mentioned in the cases in which he is involved, to try to trace the trace of his accomplices.
