ATP Ranking | Unchanged leading quartet, Carlos Alcaraz climbs to 5th place

(Paris) The Russian Daniil Medvedev is still at the top of the ATP ranking published on Monday, in an unchanged quartet ahead of the Spanish prodigy Carlos Alcaraz who has moved up one place and now occupies 5e rank, the best ranking of his career at 19 years old.

German Alexander Zverev, Spaniard Rafael Nadal and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas are still following Medvedev. Alcaraz, beaten in the final on Sunday in Hamburg by the Italian Lorenzo Musetti, overtook the Norwegian Casper Ruud who retained his title in Gstaad by beating in the final another Italian, Matteo Berrettini who grabbed a place (14e).

Musetti jumped 31 places (from 62e at the 31e) after winning his first ATP title on Sunday in Hamburg.
