(Acapulco) Rafael Nadal signed a big victory Tuesday for his first match on the ATP Tour since his title at the Australian Open, thus reaching the second round of the tournament in Acapulco.

The 35-year-old Spaniard defeated American Dennis Kudla in two sets (6-3, 6-2) and will face another American, Stefan Kozlov, 103 in the next round.and in the ATP rankings, who is also his training partner.
The world No. 5, broke Kudla, No. 100, in the fourth game of the match to lead 3-1 and move without trembling towards winning the first set. The favorite also quickly led 4-1 in the second set and then won the match in 1 hour 16 minutes.
Nadal scored eight aces and won 36 of his 40 service points.
The Spaniard, who raised in January in Melbourne his 21and Grand Slam trophy, breaking the record he held with Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, is in pursuit of a 91and ATP title.
