“At the risk of losing my skin”: Nicolas Marié reveals recent and serious health problems

Nicolas Marié is one of the actors of the TV movie The mysteries of the choir broadcast this Saturday September 24, 2022 on France 3. The 68-year-old actor plays Louis Kléber alongside Maud Baecker (Caroline), Fabrice Deville (Paul), Alix Bénézech (Hélène) and Marwan Berreni (Kuvan Birkan). For the record, the filming of this TV movie began on March 12, 2020 before the first confinement and resumed from June 29 to July 24, 2020.

On the occasion of the launch of the seventh season of the series The trainee which will be broadcast on Tuesday September 27 on France 3, Nicolas Marié granted an interview this week with our colleagues from TV Star. The 68-year-old actor returned, among other things, to his health concerns met during the filming of the series due to Covid-19 : “I will still be much less present than usual in the last episodes of the eighth season because I had a very bad Covid which forced me to interrupt the filming of The trainee and the one undertaken with my comrade Albert Dupontel (for the film Second Round which will be released in 2023). It was the first time in my life that I took a work stoppage and that I was forced to do so, at the risk otherwise of losing my skin”he revealed.

Asked about his participation in Albert Dupontel’s new film, Nicolas Marié, who won the César for Best Supporting Actor in 2021 for his role in Goodbye idiots (2020), also took the opportunity to give some information on this subject: “Given the trouble I had with the Covid, I’m not sure I’ll be in the next one, he joked. But to sum up, let’s say that Second Round is Albert’s idea of ​​the future, of politics and of the wall we are heading into if we continue to operate like this…”, he concluded.
