Is the Donbass falling into the hands of Moscow? Severodonestk has definitely fallen, and is, Saturday June 25, fully occupied. The next target of the Russian troops seems to be another strategic point: Lyssytchansk.
In the Donbass, the city of Lyssytchansk (Ukraine) is almost completely besieged by the Russians, Saturday June 25. It is the last Ukrainian stronghold in the northeast of Donbass. The central street is phantom, and the detonations multiply in the middle of the soldiers. Is Lyssytchansk about to fall, like Severodonestk (Ukraine) before it? Only a river separates the two cities, and the bridges have been destroyed. The Ukrainians left Severodonestk in an inflatable boat, pulled by force of arms.
The city of 100,000 inhabitants is now in Russian hands. “We can’t win right now. We save our men, but we’re going to attack again, we’ll go back. I’m so sad for the lives lost“, is moved a soldier. To get in and out of Lysytchansk, there is only one road left, which passes through a regularly bombarded refinery. The battle is being played out in the fields around the city. If kyiv (Ukraine) loses Lyssytchansk, half of Donbass would be under the control of the Russian army.
