at the heart of the assault brigade

Attract experienced volunteers or even young Ukrainians who are not afraid to find themselves on the front line. Videos announce it: they will be the spearhead of the reconquest. You can hear there: “We form a brigade for one purpose: to destroy the enemy with honor and without mercy. Until the last battle, join the assault brigade”. In the field, there are all the profiles: “47 years old, railway worker”, “33 years old, mechanic”, “29 years old, driver”, they announce in turn. They are already 28,000 to have joined this assault brigade.

100,000 casualties on the Ukrainian side

Training is done in small groups. Some are already seasoned, others have never set foot in a trench. They are all extremely motivated. Intensive training, every day, for a month and a half. They all had to learn first aid. In this conflict which has already claimed the lives of 100,000 Ukrainians, these new soldiers know that they will face difficult scenes in a few days or weeks.
