At the gates of the Médoc, head to Château Dillon for a deep breath … of fresh air!

Let’s go together at the gates of the Médoc at Château Dillon, follow this desire for sharing, a little nostalgic and somewhat smiling, of Guillaume Seigue. Why this choice in this season, when the leaves are turning red on the branches of the trees? Perhaps because the images of this wonderful Médoc nature warm hearts, the temperatures have cooled down, reminding us that it is time to put on rubber boots to walk between the rows of vines relieved of grapes. Guillaume Seigue therefore spent a good part of his childhood in the cellars of this wine property, his father was the prime contractor and carried out part of the cellar at the end of the 80s. Property of the Ministry of Agriculture for the years 60 and attached to the renowned wine school of Blanquefort, Château Dillon has just obtained this year the Cru Bourgeois Supérieur award this year for vintages ranging from 2017 to 2022.

Guillaume Seigue: It is a real recognition and a real guarantee of quality for the entire salaried team as well as for the students who come to help continuously with the tasks by professionalizing themselves.

Bon vivant, always ready to taste and share his most beautiful encounters in the world of wine and spirits, Guillaume is editor of the blog www.godblessbacchus.blogspot.com but also for the site www.toutlevin.com. With a glass in his left hand and a pen in his right hand, he travels through the different properties throughout the year through the terroirs and regions. Passionate about the world of wine since his childhood, he likes above all to interact with “storytellers” as he likes to call winegrowers. Mixology also takes a big place in his life with a consuming passion for the creation of cocktails.
